Lockheed Martin picks GE for US101 engine
Article Abstract:
Lockheed Martin-led consortium chose a GE engine to power its US101 medium-lift helicopter, which is an Americanized version of the European EH101, to build the next U.S. presidential helicopter. GE engine was selected on the bases of its performance in technical, program management and cost areas.

General Dynamics Corp., Lockheed Martin Corp. and Raytheon Co. submitted their competing and widely different designs for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). Navy procurement policymakers need to decide among these rival versions for the construction of the ship with large array of capabilities.
