Lockheed says F/A-22 raptor production on track; IOT&E goes well

Lockheed Martin Corp. was on track to produce the 19 F/A-22 Raptor fighter aircraft and it rolled the 11th Raptor built in 2004 off the line. The initial operational testing and evaluation (IOT&E) was well performed as per expectations and it was believed that the 19 F/A-22 Raptor fighter aircraft plays a critical role.

Lockheed Martin reported that its investments in smarter production practices would save $3.8 billion over the life of the F/A-22 Raptor program. The Raptor is the most advanced fighter aircraft in the world and is expected to set standard for air combat, including ground attack, for years to come.
