Lockheed loses court case, must pay $66 million

Lockheed Martin Corp. lost a court suit and must repay $66 million to the government, including $54 million in progress payments that must be returned and $12 million in other costs. Lockheed Martin who is disappointed by the courtEs decision feels that this would force it to record a $110 million charge against earnings, which is equivalent to about 25 cents a share.

Raytheon ends lawsuit versus Lockheed Martin over Intel system

Raytheon Co. put an end to litigation with Lockheed Martin Corp., a subcontractor to Raytheon on the multi-year advanced intelligence processing system project, thereby clearing away a potential obstacle for the perusal of the project. Raytheon had initiated the lawsuit in order to protect proprietary information related to the project.
