Lonrho takes its wares to market
Article Abstract:
Lonrho is a UK holding company may sell some major assets following a number of minor disposals, in order to focus on mining and links with Africa. The group has put together hotel assets in African and the UK under a single management and these assets could be floated in 1996. The group also plans to restructure platinum mining assets. Lonrho aims to demonstrate that it is undervalued in the market through floating assets, according to Charles Pick, analyst from Panmure Gordon.
