Goodyear kicks off 'Ultra Grip' promotion

Goodyear aims to educate consumers about the benefits of using the new Ultra Grip Ice winter tires. The promotion, which is aimed at cold-climate drivers, is spearheaded by hockey legend Wayne Gretzky. It has three components, namely, The New Year's Eve Ultra Trip private jet party, the Ultra Grip 'Most Gripping Moment Of My Life' Essay Contest and The Ultra Grip 'Most Gripping Moments of the 20th Century.' Goodyear dealerships in Canada and the US will feature the program displays.

FINA promotes new 'ZAP APP' program

Dallas, TX-based crude petroleum and natural gas producer FINA has deployed a new marketing program called 'ZAPP APP' that is designed to automate the competitive credit card conversion process at the retail store level. Participating stores will use ZAPP APP point-of-sale equipment that function like automated teller machines and immediately, automatically transmit cardholder or applicant data to FINA's card processing center.
