Morgen-Walke sold to Lighthouse
Article Abstract:
Lighthouse Global Network has acquired Morgen-Walke Assocs, which is the biggest remaining independent financial PR company with around 150 employees and fees of $25 million in 1999. Lighthouse is made up of 14 design, marketing and communications companies that were assembled by venture capitalist Terence M Graunke and other investors. It is supported by Chicago venture capital companies Frontenac Co and GTCR Golden Rauner.

MS&L acquires Pondel Wilkinson
Article Abstract:
Pondel/Wilkinson Group (P/WG) , an IR/financial communications firm based in Los Angeles, CA, was acquired by Manning, Selvage and Lee (MS and L). Under the terms of the deal, P/WG will be renamed Pondel/Wilkinson MS and L, and will serve as MS and L's IR brand. The management team of P/WG was also retained. Rogerr Pondel was appointed managing director while Cecilia Wilkinson was named Deputy Managing Director.

DeVries PR sold to Interpublic
Article Abstract:
DeVries PR (New York, NY) has been bought by Interpublic. Madeline deVries was delighted with the acquisition. DeVries will operate as an independent division, and recently had $12 million in contracts, and continues to see a 20 percent growth rate.
