Moseley calls UAVs key to 'jointness'

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) would play an important role, as the Air Force wants to increase its ability to operate jointly with the other armed services. An effective tanker fleet is important to joint operations among the armed forces due to its role, for example in extending the range of fighter aircraft, bombers, and other types of vital air support.
