Engineering Technology Center Inc., a segment of Analysis and Technology, Inc., North Stonington, Conn., is being awarded a $22,907,684 cost-plus-award-fee completion, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for engineering and analytical services in the areas of program planning and management, shipboard technology research, hardware and machinery development, and component and system test and evaluation. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa. (60%), Annapolis, Md. (20%), Bethesda, Md. (15%), and Rockville, Md. (5%), and, and is expected to be completed in October 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $30,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet and four offers were received. Avondale Industries, Inc., Shipyard Division, New Orleans, La., is being awarded a $14,453,270 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-93-C-2205 to exercise an option for the procurement of long lead time material for one strategic sealift ship. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed in September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
