Article Abstract:
Northrop Grumman Marine Systems, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $73,846,853 fixed-price-incentive, cost-plus-incentive-fee, and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide funding for TRIDENT launcher production and U.S. and U.K. deployed systems support for TRIDENT I (C4) and TRIDENT II (D5) fleet ballistic missile launcher subsystems. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed in June 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $7,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-99-C-0008).

Crowley American Transport, Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded a $35,675,625 time charter contract for the charter of MV Sea Wolf, a U.S. flag vessel, which is a container ship with a limited amount of roll-on/roll-off space, and will be used in prepositioning of the Army general cargo in Guam/Saipan. Work will be performed in waters around Guam/Saipan, and is expected to be completed by October 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
