General Electric Co., Aircraft Engines Business Group, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $5,074,150 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0114 to provide extended service field support, engineering support, and attrition hardware for pre-production F414-GE-400 engines extended service requirements under low rate initial production II (LRIP II). Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass. (66.5%), Patuxent River, Md. (25%), and Lemoore, Calif. (8.5%), and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
