Article Abstract:
Engineering Design Group, Inc., Tulsa, Okla., is being awarded an $8,145,775 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for services and supplies in support of automated fuel handling equipment (AFHE). This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $30,919,563. Work will be performed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (25%), San Diego, Calif. (25%), Jacksonville, Fla. (25%), and Norfolk, Va. (25%), and is expected to be completed by June 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 59 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-98-D-7707).
