Tracor Systems Technologies Inc, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $5,092,783 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering and technical support services for mobile tactical systems, joint combat system, ground theater air control systems and related special programs and projects. This support includes the design, development, installation, integration, documentation, repair, restoration and testing of individual and joint service mobile tactical systems, command, control, computers, communications, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems and special program systems. Support includes ensuring the subject systems are properly designed, tested and installed as stand-alone systems or integrated into a host platform, such as ship, van, shore site, shelter, or other platform. The contract contains four one-year options which, if exercised, will bring total the cumulative value of the contract to $25,971,319. Work will be performed primarily in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by July 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 105 proposals solicited and six offers received. Raytheon Support Service Co., Chula Vista, Calif., is being awarded a $30,012,260 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-award-feepricing for engineering, fabrication, integration, installation support service and equipment for Navy militarized and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) communication systems. These include high frequency (HF), fiber optic, digital data transmission, information exchange and satellite communication systems, the latter including very high frequency (VHF), ultra high frequency (UHF), super high frequency (SHF), extremely high frequency (EHF), and Television Receive Only (TVRO). This contract contains four options which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative ceiling value of this contract to $217,439,912. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (35%), Norfolk, Va., (35%) and at various other locations inside and outside the continental U.S., dependent upon ships' locations (30%), and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Tracor Applied Sciences, Austin, Texas, is being awarded an $8,615,851 modification to previously awarded contract N00140-94-C-AC72 to exercise an option for technical and engineering services to support the integration, test, installation, and certification of radio communication systems for U.S. Navy ships. Work will be performed in Austin, Texas (80%), St. Inigoes, Md. (10%), Bath, Maine (5%), and Pascagoula, Miss. (5%), and is expected to be completed by September 1999.
