Article Abstract:
Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $5,235,352 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-5177 to exercise options for planning and management support of Japanese DDG 173 class programs under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The work will provide overhaul planning, scheduling and execution of all efforts with the DDG 173 class ships including a review of proposed technical changes, providing technical input, and performing analytical studies. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by October 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Launching Systems, Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $18,826,889 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-5316 for engineering services in support of the MK 41 vertical launching system. This modification combines services for the U.S. Navy (97.28%) and the governments of Japan (2.22%) and Turkey (.5%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md., and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds in the amount of $116,013 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
