Article Abstract:
Raytheon Systems Corporation, DFW Airport, Texas, is being awarded a $5,535,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide contractor operation and maintenance of simulators for F/A-18E/F aviation training devices, including eight operational flight trainers, six weapons tactics trainers, three part task trainers and eight simulated aircraft maintenance trainers. Work will be performed at Cecil Field, Fl. (27%), Miramar, Calif. (23%), Lemoore, Calif. (23%), Beaufort, S.C. (20%), and Iwakuni, Japan (7%), and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61339-98-C-0067).

RF Microsystems, Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $10,105,392 modification to previously awarded contract N00421-95-C-5176 to exercise an option to provide an estimated level of effort of 160,000 man-hours of technical and engineering services for radio transmission systems. Work will be performed at a variety of government installations worldwide, and is expected to be completed in September 1999. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Div., St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.
