McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., is being awarded a $7,353,706 ceiling priced order for 225 arresting hook subassemblies for the F/A-18C/D aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (33%), Gardenia, Calif. (26%), Reading, Pa. (22%), Wright City, Mo. (11.2%), South Gate, Calif. (4%), Maspeth, N.Y. (1.2%), Commerce, Calif. (1%), Newtown, Pa. (1%), Earth City, Mo. (.3%), and Steelville, Mo. (.3%), and is expected to be completed in August 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (45%), Patuxent River, Md. (45%), and Tullahoma, Tenn. (10%), and is expected to be completed by March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured.
