Computer doomsday
Article Abstract:
The year 2000 computer problem poses risks that need careful planning to minimize potential financial impact on businesses. Computers are set to crash unless their dates are changed from 2-digit to 4-digit displays. Industries still have time to prepare for this event but there is no guarantee that adequate preparation will pay off. It is still a good practice to do what other businesses are doing in preparing for the transition.
