Public relations (PR) practitioners have the opportunity to present the beneficial effect of globalization to the US and the world in general. Globalization, while arguably responsible for the exploitation of workers in developing countries, is also responsible for lowering the cost of goods as well as for bringing inexpensive raw materials into the country. PR professionals should also bear in mind that political liberalization in most of the so-called 'tiger' economies was achieved through trade liberalization.
