Pack-a-Mac
Article Abstract:
Ritz Accounting, Mind Your Own Business (MYOB) and Path2 are just three of the accounting software packages that Macintosh-based small businesses and first-time users may use. These packages all have integrated ledgers with sophisticated features, including password controls, screen help, multiple value-added tax rates, and bank reconciliation. Ritz Accounting is ideal for users whose nominal ledger requirements are simple because it can only accomodate 999 nominal accounts. MYOB allows users to choose among four standard charts of accounts for various business types. Path2 is quite flexible in that its nominal account structure can easily be changed by inserting accounts or altering names. Of the three packages, MYOB is viewed as the most functional, the easiest to use, and offers the most value for the user's money. Ritz is priced at 399 pounds sterling, while both MYOB and Path2 cost 395 pounds.
