Pakistan more a proliferation threat than Iran: Experts
Article Abstract:
Experts in the Middle East consider Pakistan a bigger threat to the US than Iran when it comes to the prospect of a state arming terrorist with nuclear weapons or other such large-scale arms. Daniel Byman, associate professor at Georgetown University and director of the university's security studies program says that although the US has focused on Iran's nuclear program and the possibility of its developing nuclear weapons, almost to the point of obsession, Iran is not as immediate a danger for nuclear proliferation as Pakistan.
