Perception and visualization of human posture information for computer-aided ergonomic analysis
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine the impact of photographic perspective, number of photographs per posture, posture data visualization scheme, and complexity of posture, on posture perception. Three experiments which analyzed cognitive and perceptual issues in the use and design of postural analysis software were performed. The findings indicate the importance of harmonizing photographic and computer display perspectives to achieve a better posture specification performance.
