Pionex introduces build to order program

Somerset, NJ-based Pionex has deployed a build-to-order (BTO) program featuring interactive configuration stations that may be used by shoppers to customize their own computers at retail in minutes. The interactive stations run on user-friendly, Pionex-designed software, which are designed to incorporate the latest system upgrade or downgrade options being offered by the company. The BTO program can be tailored for the store chain and store logos can be placed on the BTO System screen saver.

Daimler-Benz AG rolls out a new factory delivery program called Experience The Source for M-Class vehicle. An authorized Mercedes-Benz light truck retail center can receive an order for an M-Class vehicle as well as arrange a factory pickup. John Stech, Product Manager, Light Trucks, MBUSA, said clients can meet the people that manufacture and stand behind the M-Class via the Experience The Source program.

Goelitz introduces full service program

Herman Goelitz Candy Co is rolling out a full service program that features tailor-made wood and plexiglass fixtures. The fixtures also include a wall unit available in a kiosk, an end cap and '4 increments. Andrew Joffer, Goelitz' sales manager, said the goal is to keep the gourmet look of the company in shopping malls. The firm is eyeing to reach most of the grocery trade as well as drug store chains.
