British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) will launch a United Kingdom digital service in Jun 1998 and analog TV looks set to disappear in one or two decades. The company's profit is forecast to rise to 324 million pounds sterling for 1998 to 1999 compared with an estimated 287 million pounds for 1997 to 1998. Brokers are divided on their recommendations for the company's stocks, with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson rating the stocks a buy, and Greig Middleton rating the stocks a hold. Panmure Gorden sees the stocks as at about the right price, and Credit Lyonnais and Charles Stanley rate the stocks a sell.
