SBC Communications
Article Abstract:
SBC Communications was previously known as Southwestern Bell, and is a Texan telecoms concern. The company's dividends and earnings have risen annually from 1984. The company is involved in mobile telecommunications and has been permitted to operate mobile phone systems in areas other than its home states. The company is likely to have to increase investment but this should bring benefits. SBC Communications should benefit from deregulation and growth in US telecoms.
