Company advances UAV ground station commonality
Article Abstract:
The US Army's newest unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) program's design, called Warrior, will be reviewed in January 2006. General Atomics Aeronautical System is developing Warrior for the Army under a system development and demonstration contract, valued at $1 billion and will last for about two years.

For Navy, AUV 'Sees' the sea

Seaglider is categorized as an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), which can go to great depths as low as a thousand meters below the ocean's surface and can collect data picture of the water. The Seaglider (AUV) costs US$100,000, and will embark upon its first operational duty for Navy in 2004.
