Recruitment
Article Abstract:
United Kingdom recruitment companies' stocks have been affected by concerns about a possible economic downturn in the UK, and this has especially affected information technology recruitment companies. All recruitment companies are likely to be affected by problems in world financial markets, and slower rates of economic growth. Demand for temporary workers tends to change in line with economic growth, and demand for permanent staff tends to follow growth with a time-lag of six months. Growth of the sector has been helped by deregulation of labor markets and outsourcing.
