Regulators seek answers on Big Four domination

The government and accountancy regulators would be considering alternatives to Big Four audit domination following the publication of 167-page Oxera report. This report intends to define reasons for the Big Four's stranglehold on listed company auditing and the main question argued would be why 99 of 100 FTSE 100 companies are audited by the Big Four and only 8 of the 250 largest have non-Big Four auditors.

Making money from sustainability
Article Abstract:
New and pragmatic ways are demonstrating how companies can benefit from sustainability reporting which once was looked upon as impractical altruism. It is observed that 40 out of the 50 top reporters use guidelines provided by the Global Reporting Initiative showing that sustainability reporting is becoming part of the mainstream.
