Research Triangle Institute
Article Abstract:
Research Triangle Institute is launching an interactive kiosk that furnishes electronic staffing for promotional events such as trade shows. The ExhibitAR utilizes the new RTI technology called AVATALK, which allows interactive, spoken conversation with a virtual human, and procures information from visitors, such as the length of time they spend at the kiosk and their immediate response to the product. The ExhibitAR, which features both male and female virtual humans, also reports the number of intercepts and the visitors' perceptions at the end of the show.
