Retail sales for anti-aging products expected to reach $4.3 billion by 2003
Article Abstract:
Retail sales of anti-aging products are predicted to increase to $4.3 billion in 2003, as shown by a study released by New York, NY-based Kaolorama Information. Two contributing factors associated with this increase are the aging of the baby boomer generation and a significant rise of new products on the markets. Based on the study, drugstores have a share of about 29% of sales in the cosmeceutical market, followed by department stores and mass merchandisers at 26% and 24%, respectively.
