Search for additional defensive candidates
Article Abstract:
The stock market as of the 2nd half of Oct. 1995 has been observed to be consolidating with investors shying away from speculative issues and showing interest in defensive growth stocks such as electric utilities, tobacco and cosmetics. It is predicted that the current weakness of the stock market will not last as it is merely a result of the usual lag during the months of October and November.
