CZ Strakonice increased its exports considerably

CZ Strakonice (Strakonice, Czech Republic), engineering firm, saw proceeds of CEK 800.49 mil including its subsidiaries for 1Q 2001. The sum is 9% higher compared to 1Q 2000. The company increased mainly its turbo-blower, aluminium casting and chain sales in 1Q 2001. The company's economy for 1Q 2001 was influenced mainly by the growth of demand abroad. CZ's export volume increased by 21% to CEK 221.269 mil for 1Q 2001 compared to 1Q 2000. The exports went mainly to Germany, France, the US, the UK and China.

Valeo Autoklimatizace (Rakovnik, Czech Republic), automotive component manufacturer, plans to invest CEK 2 bil shortly. The investments are intended for the enlargement of the firm's plant in Rakovnik and an increase in the capacity of its plastic component pressing shop. The firm has received an investment incentive on the maximum level of CEK 649 mil for the investment project.
