For instance, the Good Life people pursues the 'good life' with a what-they-want and when-they-want-it attitude. On the other hand, the Artisan shows a fine appreciation for first-class workmanship and a cultivated sense of enduring beauty.

2000 will ring in record growth in consumer electronics sales

The Consumer Electronics Assn (CEA) forecasts that the consumer electronics industry will post a record sales of $85 billion in 2000. If the forecast is right, 2000 would the 8th consecutive year of growth for the industry. According to the CEA's projection sales of personal computer will also hit a record of $168 billion in 2000, while sales of computer peripherals and digital video disc players will reach $10 billion and $1.5 billion, respectively.

Marketers increase coupon distribution

The number of coupons distributed in 2000 rose by 7.5% to more than 330 billion, according to Carolina Manufacturer's Service (CMS), a Winston- Salem promotional settlement and information management company. More than 4.4 billion coupons were redeemed in 2000, with a value of more than $3.3 billion. The volume of coupons distributed rose for the second consecutive year as marketers tried various modes of distributing coupons.
