Sold on capitalism: Russian marketer prospers in spite of economic conditions
Article Abstract:
Russian entrepreneur Vakhtang V. Makharadze is a capitalist who started a piggery when perestroika initiatives were passed. He formed Interferma foodshop with International Processing Systems Inc which had $200,000 profits in its first month. Makharadze later sold his shares in the store for 10 million rubles due to management differences. He acquired buildings, land and ships to continue his own Borodin Bread export business to Bloomingdale's department store. Makharadze has a joint venture with the Geonomics Institute of Economic Problems which provides training for Russians who eventually work in a 40-acre agro-industrial complex in Russia.

Financially strong companies are also advised to bring their business to Russia since the country holds a lot of promise.
