Splintex Czech will enlarge its plant

Splintex Czech (Bilina-Chuderice, Czech Republic), flat glass manufacturer, plans to invest more than CEK 1.3 bil in the enlargement of its plant in Chuderice by 2005. The firm has received investment incentives in the form of five-year tax holidays for the growth of the income tax and a purpose subsidy of CEK 200,000 for every job.

Vetropack increased its proceeds by 11%

The firm produced and sold over 700 mil bottles and preserve jars in 2000. The quantity is 74.1 mil pieces higher compared to 647.6 mil sold bottles and jars in 1999.

Moser raises profit 137%

The profit growth was influenced by exports, which increased by 36% in 2000 compared to 1999. The firm's revenues rose by 11.6% to CEK 295 mil in 2000 compared to 1999.
