Article Abstract:
The various changes in the 2003 regulations and related amendments to Proceeds of Crime Act (PoCA), such as, the expansion of the regulated sector from 'relevant financial businesses' to 'relevant businesses' are discussed. An insight into the interim guidance issued in May 2003 by the CCAB bodies regarding the compliance procedure of the new anti-money laundering regime is provided.
