Computer and software manufacturers continually develop new technologies that quickly replace existing technologies. The rapid pace of innovation has often created confusion among consumers since they are faced with a wide range of product choices. To reduce confusion, companies have developed innovative marketing strategies to clearly distinguish their products from others. An example of these innovative strategies is integrated direct marketing which tries to incorporate customer perceptions into the marketing campaign.
