Task force takes on environment
Article Abstract:
The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants has formed a task force that will ensure the development of the profession. The group, to be composed of 12 members, will determine the effects on the field of programs for its improvement and suggest ways for practitioners to properly handle the impact of development. Among the concerns that will be reviewed by the task force are environmental rulings that affect such business components as products, marketing and distribution. The group will also find ways to counter the underestimation by different sectors of the importance of accountants' services.
