Article Abstract:
Maurice Ede, chairman of the Professional Standards Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), admits that the Practice Assurance scheme proposed by the institute is never going to be popular, but is convinced that members are resigned to the necessity of having such a scheme in place.
