The discussion between two technology transfer professionals is presented, on the advantages and disadvantages of the material transfer agreement (MTA), the agreement for the transfer of tangible research material like cell lines, plasmids between the research institutions, which can prove taxing for researchers, resulting in higher research prohibitively expense for small enterprises with limited funds.
