The first 100 days after the arrival of a new chief executive officer (CEO) in a company constitute a critical phase where the CEO tries to absorb the facts and personal reflections about his or her job, gathers insight into the company, and lays the groundwork for the company's future strategy. European biotech CEO survey was conducted by Egon Zehnder International's life science practice to understand the factors to be considered by a new CEO appointed to a biotechnology or emerging healthcare company.
