Holland America Cruise Line has a nine-ship fleet, the flagship of which is the 64,000-ton, 1,200-passenger MV Rotterdam. The ship offers a 90- to 100-day world cruise for $24,000 to more than $100,000 per person. It is also among the first large cruise ships to offer a visit to Antarctica through its cruise labeled 'The Antarctic Experience.' This cruise also includes a sail around Cape Horn, visits to to the southernmost cities of Punta Arenas, Chile, and Ushuaia, Argentina.

Department oblivious to profusion of Bioagent Labs, IG warns
Article Abstract:
The Department of Energy (DOE) headquarters has failed to exert management control over decisions to build new high-hazard biological agent laboratories at its sites, giving field officials a free hand to proceed with a profusion of projects that may be duplicative and have varying security and safety features. Eight biosafety level 3 (BSL-3) laboratories, which have been built are under construction or are in the planning stages at five DOE sites.

RAND Corp. have designed a new concept called Atypical Signal Analysis and Processing (ASAP) for computer network and database that could help the U.S. intelligence community to identify and interpret clues of a possible terrorist attack. ASAP can be used to increase the efficiency and thoroughness of the initial process of data collection as well as to synthesize and interpret continuous streams of information.
