A consumer panel is a marketing research tool that is a mix of both quantitative and qualitative research, and is comprised of a large number of consumers who have consented to respond to research questions. Traditional methods combined with technology results in to a modern-day consumer panel that target a highly segmented portion of the population. Efficient primary research is still needed according to researchers.
