Chris Hughes' introduction to the gum vending industry was the result of a fraud transaction, however, this showed Hughes that the business was not taken seriously. Hughes created ToyVend, which is now a leading vendor of sweets, gum and toy machines and handles 75 tons of gum annually. Hughes says he has reached success by doing things properly.

Open day shows off new products
Article Abstract:
The Park Avenue Open Day has been a huge success. More than 25 exhibitors were present at Electrocoin Automatics' showroom. At the adjacent United Distribution company the response was equally enthusiastic. A detailed study of the participants and the products is presented.
