Trocadero property merry go round
Article Abstract:
Trocadero was acquired by Brent Walker in 1998 and then by Power Corporation in 1992, but it went into receivership to be rescued by Burford. Burford acquired the company which was then demerged to form Trocadero plc, and the company announced a JV with Sega for a theme park. Trocadero is a UK leisure company which has acquired rights to the Enid Blyton estate. The company aims to boost revenue from the estate through boosting revenue from existing contracts and renewing contracts on better terms. Bewitched, bewildered and bothered
Article Abstract:
Trocadero is a UK company which was demerged from Burford, a real estate company, in Oct 1995. The company has joined the UK Alternative Investment Market and has seen a rise in its share price. Trocadero is investing in indoor attractions to provide a SegaWorld theme park. Sega is also investing in the project. The investment should increase the number of visitors and the amount each one spends. Trocadero shares are a speculative investment.
