The man who did rather well over there
Article Abstract:
Gordon White developed an empire for Hanson in the US. His success was due to his charm, and his ability to make deals which involved potential and low risk. He was bold, tough and determined, and was well able to identify undervalued companies. Conglomerates often reach a point where they are no longer able to make acquisitions which generate sufficient growth. Hanson has avoided this problem, in part due to the skills of Gordon White.
