Minimizing distortions: seating requirements for stereo projection rooms
Article Abstract:
The spectator has to sit at the correct station point to fully experience the 3-D effect of stereoscopic projection. A distortion function of the effect is subject to change from one configuration to another, which makes it impossible to develop a single optimal relationship between distance and orientation for varying projection/seating relationships. In general, it is better to use as large a display as possible, maintain the longest possible distance between viewers and the screen, and determine the station point accordingly.

Evaluation of stereoscopic picture quality with CFF
Article Abstract:
The critical flicker frequency (CFF) is an efficient means of objectively measuring fatigue among television viewers, including those of binocular stereoscopic television. This was the conclusion in a quantitative evaluation of fatigue caused by binocular stereoscopic picture viewing. It was also found that the binocular stereoscopic television caused higher fatigue in viewers than the conventional television picture, but this was allowable for about 30 minutes for CFF viewing.
