What future lies ahead for Orange?
Article Abstract:
Orange may be floated by Vodaphone, and become an independent company, though there are question about how long its independence could last. There are a number of potential predators, such as France Telecom. Both Vodaphone and Orange are able to bid for third generation mobile telephony licenses allowing mobile phones to access the internet. Orange could, however, withdraw from the bidding if the price for such a license appears to be too high.
