Experts believe that the UK government needs to make a concerted effort to reduce the administrative burden of the country's tax system, reported at Pounds Sterling 5.1 billion in March 2006. Policymakers must listen to their colleagues both within the Revenue and from the profession and use the information available to make a meaningful impact on the tax system for the benefit of the wider business community.
