Article Abstract:
Defense analyst Loren Thompson, chief operating officer and a defense analyst at the Lexington Institute, Virginia, has predicted that Michael Wynne, would be the next secretary of the US Air Force. Thompson feels that Wynne's understanding of technology, his experience in the space industry, which gives him the ability to understand the implications of program choices in a way that relatively few political appointees do, would favor him for appointment to the post.
