AOT-microemulsions-based formation and evolution of PbWO4 crystals
Article Abstract:
Anionic surfactant-AOT-microemulsions-assisted formation and evolution of PbWO4 nanostructures at different media conditions are studied. Comparative studies revealed that the several experimental parameters, such as, the concentration of anionic surfactant AOT (sodium bis (2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate), the water content, and reaction temperature have significant effects on morphologies and size-distribution PbWO4 nanostructures.

Molecular mechanism of anomalous increase in the helical pitch of cholesteric liquid crystals induced by achiral dopants
Article Abstract:
The mechanism of change in the helical pitch induced by a solute is discussed. The most effective molecular length of the dopants is to increase the pitch depends on the host cholesterics.
