Article Abstract:

Transient grafting (TG) investigation of the thermoacoustic properties of binary liquid systems performed with evanescent waves generated upon total internal reflection (TIR) at the liquid/liquid interface. The speed of sound and the acoustic attenuation measured near the interface are found to be essentially the same as in the bulk solutions.
